Step One
Pause
Before healing begins, there must be stillness. Pausing calms your breath, quiets your mind, and gently signals to your nervous system that it is safe to rest. This is where the journey starts — with a sacred, intentional slowing down.
"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
Step Two
Explore
After pausing, you begin to notice your inner world, emotions and physical sensations, without judgment. This step invites curious, compassionate awareness of where stress, grief, or anxiety lives in your body, and brings those places into the light of God's presence.
"Search me, O God, and know my heart." — Psalm 139:23
Step Three
Align
Bring what you've explored into alignment with God's truth about who you are. This step shifts your perspective from pain-based thinking to your Spirit-led identity — replacing shame with grace and tension with trust through biblical self-compassion.
"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind." — Romans 12:2
Step Four
Communion
Communion is not performance, it is presence. In this step, you sit in sacred stillness with God through soaking prayer, silence, and scripture meditation. The focus is on receiving rather than striving, allowing deep healing to take place in His nearness.
"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." — James 4:8
Step Five
Embody
Healing becomes real when it moves with you. Embodiment means integrating the truth you've received into your breath, posture, tone, and daily choices. This final step is where transformation happens, not perfection, but wholeness in motion.
"Present your bodies as a living sacrifice… this is your true worship." — Romans 12:1
The P.E.A.C.E. Method™ is a five-step Christian somatic coaching framework designed to help women move out of survival mode and into sacred alignment, body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in nervous system regulation, somatic principles, and the presence of God, this method offers practical tools for women of faith who are ready to stop merely coping and begin truly healing.
